NIRVANA

A request (more like a slow hypnotic chant beaten into my brain, "...more Nirvana, more Nirvana...").

I was pointed at this show as needing a workover. Material-wise, cool show, with all the early song goodness that was the beginning of grunge and a near run-down of the album "Bleach".

Source-wise, it's OK, not great. A rough SBD source with over-bearing vocals, slightly buried guitar and a snake-like tape hiss.
Starting with the latter, there was little chance of me cutting the hiss without losing half of the high-end. I tried a few different things, then bagged it.
I'd rather have an accurate high-end a little bit of hiss than a destroyed muffled mess.

The rest responded nicely: the overall spectrum got smoothed out, the compression brought everyone together,
The width-depth enhancments opened up some space, and the maximiaztion added punch and volume.
Kurt's vocals no longer dominate and his guitar can now be heard amongst the bass & drum frenzy. And it's been retracked to make a bit more sense.

So, here you go, as requested...hope it's all you dreamed it would be.
