TAPER NOTES :
While I thought Blur's performance stole weekend 1, I have to personally say that they didn't quite live up to that on weekend 2 (it was still a great performance, just not as good as the week before, and definitely not as good as the Stone Roses who performed right before them). In fact it was strange, when they opened for the Stone Roses for weekend 1, it was Blur who had the better set, and when the Stone Roses opened for them on weekend 2, it was the Stone Roses who had the better set, so maybe that opening slot was the set to have? Who knows. This is still a great show, and the recording came out pretty well (about as well as I'm gonna get it at the big open main stage). These Brits put the other headliners of the weekend to shame!
